Dr. Ravi K. Mehrotra is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Foresight Group International Limited. A marine engineer by training, he began his career in 1964 with the Shipping Corporation of India, rising to Chief Engineer and later serving as Managing Director for the company’s international joint ventures. These experiences helped him build a global network and paved the way for establishing his own shipping company, Foresight Group, in 1984.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ravi has exemplified the principles that define the Foresight Group, steering its businesses toward new opportunities while ensuring they remain equipped with the talent, assets, and expertise to thrive for generations.
His contributions have been widely recognized. He received an Honorary CBE (Commander of the British Empire) from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and holds a Key to the City of London. He is Chairman of the European India Chamber of Commerce (EICC) in Brussels, has served as Director of the Commonwealth Business Council, and was a board member of Lloyd’s Register. He has also received the Lloyd’s List and Seatrade Lifetime Achievement Awards for his impact on the offshore and maritime industry and holds honorary doctorates from Aries International Maritime Research Institute, Dubai, and Royal Holloway University of London (Doctor of Science Honoris Causa, 2021).
An entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Ravi has diversified the Foresight Group into drilling, shipping, port and gas infrastructure, retail, hospitality, and a not-for-profit training institute. Under his leadership, the Group aims to celebrate its centenary in 2084 with strong financial health, an excellent reputation, and businesses that remain relevant to society.

Mrs. Manju Mehrotra, a graduate with a BA and B.Ed, has been a pillar of support in the founding and growth of the Foresight Group since its inception in 1984. She chairs the Family Council of RK Mehrotra Holdings Limited, the ultimate holding company of the Foresight Group, and has played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Group over the past 36 years. Her hands-on approach includes regular engagement with business leaders and frequent visits to operations—onboard ships, rigs, and across company offices.
A committed philanthropist, Mrs. Mehrotra has been instrumental in supporting the Amer Maritime Training Academy in Kanpur, India, and is currently spearheading efforts to consolidate and expand the Group’s philanthropic initiatives under the Foresight Foundation.

Utsav Seth is an Indian-born global business leader and Group Managing Director of Foresight Group (Foresight Global Pte Ltd., Singapore), based at the Group’s headquarters in Dubai, UAE. With over 33 years of international experience spanning footwear material manufacturing, branded retail, hospitality, power equipment, offshore oil drilling, energy shipping, and port infrastructure, Utsav has been instrumental in transforming Foresight Group from a family business into a professionally managed global corporate institution.
Under his leadership, the Group’s Drilling Division added new Fortune 500 clients in the Middle East, expanded its offshore jack-up rig fleet, and established a land drilling vertical in India with a distinguished national oil company. In Shipping, he transitioned the fleet from crude oil to LPG transportation, adding Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) and driving the Group toward becoming a top-five global VLGC owner/operator by 2030. He also spearheaded the development of a smart, multi-purpose Bhavnagar Port in India through a joint venture with the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group and Boskalis N.V., securing a concession from the Gujarat Maritime Board.
Committed to long-term talent development, Utsav initiated the establishment of the RK Mehrotra Institute of Business, Markets and Society at Boston University (USA), the RK Mehrotra Centre for Maritime Excellence at the Indian Maritime University (Kolkata, India), and the RK Mehrotra Centre for Learning Excellence in Mumbai to cultivate internal leadership and technological innovation. He serves on the International Advisory Board of Boston University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, IMD (Switzerland), and INSEAD (France).
A dedicated philanthropist, Utsav is deeply involved in initiatives supporting youth education in India, including Each One Teach One Foundation and Ekkam Foundation, among others. Outside of work, he is a fitness enthusiast, avid swimmer, cyclist, and walker, and draws inspiration from reading and travel to fuel his personal and professional growth.

Om Bhatt is a seasoned banking and corporate leader with decades of international and strategic experience. He served 37 years at the State Bank of India (SBI), including five years as Chairman and CEO, overseeing SBI, five associate banks, overseas branches, and multiple subsidiaries, elevating SBI’s global profile on the Fortune 500.
For over a decade, Mr. Bhatt has contributed as an Independent Director across multinational corporations spanning banking, IT services, consumer goods, automotive, steel, and renewable energy, including Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Motors, and Greenko Energy. He has also participated in India’s international CEO forums with the US, Russia, and France, building strong global networks.
Recognized with awards such as ‘Banker of the Year’ (Business Standard), CNN-IBN Indian of the Year for Business, and Lifetime Achievement in Corporate Governance, Mr. Bhatt brings a holistic, global perspective and proven strategic insight to the Foresight Group Board.

Roger Clasquin serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Foresight Group, bringing over 45 years of international leadership experience across maritime, logistics, ports, shipping, and marine construction sectors. He combines deep industry knowledge with strategic leadership skills, honed through the IMD Lausanne High Performance Leadership Program, the Rotterdam School of Management Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership, and a strong foundation in Economic Science from ISW.
Roger has served on the boards of numerous international port and maritime enterprises, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor and visionary leader. His global perspective, multifaceted expertise, and extensive executive network enable Foresight Group to navigate the complexities of the maritime landscape while driving strategic growth and expansion.

Patrick (Paddy) Rodgers, former Chief Executive of Euronav, serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Foresight Group. A lawyer by profession, he brings over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry, with expertise spanning fleet development, financial leadership, and strategic growth.
Paddy currently serves as a Director of the Royal Museums Greenwich—including the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum, and Queen’s House—and as a Non-Executive Director at V.Group, a global ship management company. He has previously held key roles such as Chief Financial Officer of Euronav and Chairman of ITOPF.
Foresight Group benefits from Paddy’s extensive industry network, deep knowledge of tanker operations, and proven leadership and communication skills, which are pivotal in driving growth and expansion of the Group’s shipping business in a post-COVID world.
Mr. Padmanabha Mishra

Mr. Padmanabha Mishra brings extensive international banking expertise to the Foresight Group. Until his retirement in March 2023, he served as Group Head of International at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), overseeing institutional clients globally—including financial institutions, corporates, and government entities—outside the UAE, as well as the Bank’s multinational clients business. He was also responsible for risk management across counterparty credits and sovereign limits.
Mr. Mishra’s distinguished banking career spans multiple geographies and leadership roles at global financial institutions, including ABN AMRO Bank and Bank of America. Prior to joining ADCB in 2008, he served as Wholesale Clients Head for the Middle East at ABN AMRO Bank and previously led its Financial Institutions and Public Sector business in Asia.
He holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Delhi and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Newbridge Fintech Solutions, contributing his expertise in strategic banking, risk management, and global client relationships.

Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa is a distinguished career diplomat and independent director with over 36 years of experience in international relations and global governance. She joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1979 and has served as India’s Ambassador to Japan (2012–2015), Qatar (2009–2012), and Sweden (2005–2009), with concurrent accreditation to Latvia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Her career also includes key postings in China, Geneva, the Netherlands, and at the International Labour Organization, as well as leadership roles in India’s Ministry of External Affairs handling relations with the UN system.
Ms. Wadhwa has played a pivotal role in advancing India’s diplomatic and economic interests, covering trade, investment, technology transfer, and energy security, and has actively contributed to international negotiations on climate change, sustainable development, disarmament, and human rights. She continues to promote India-Japan relations as Chairperson of the India-Japan Friendship Forum and serves on the Governing Council of the Asian Confluence, fostering development and connectivity in India’s North-East.
In recognition of her contributions to strengthening India-Japan relations, Ms. Wadhwa was awarded the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun by the Government of Japan in 2024. She also serves as an advisor and independent director on the boards of several organizations, bringing deep global insight and strategic perspective to Foresight Group.

Capt. Vikram Sharma is a distinguished maritime professional whose career spans over four decades. He began in 1971 as a cadet on TS Dufferin, securing All India Rank 2, and graduated in 1973 as Runner-Up to the President’s Gold Medal and recipient of the “Most Officer-Like Qualities” award. He spent 20 years at sea, including 10 years as Master, commanding tankers, bulk carriers, cargo, and passenger vessels.
After coming ashore in 1992, he held leadership roles with Neptune Shipmanagement Services and Tanker Pacific Management, worked on safety and quality certification with American Bureau of Shipping, and served with Mediterranean Shipping Company. He later joined Terminal Investment Limited, retiring as CEO in 2018 after expanding its portfolio from 14 to 50 terminals globally and tripling throughput and profitability. From 2015 until retirement, he was named among the ten most influential figures in the container terminal industry by Lloyd's List.
